StatSheet's Big Sky Player of the Week for January 21st goes to Kareem Jamar from Montana. Eastern Washington's Venky Jois has won StatSheet Big Sky Freshman of the Week. And last but not least, Spencer Coleman from Montana has won StatSheet's Big Sky 6th Man of the Week. Jamar tallied 50% shooting, 7 rebounds per game, and 17.5 points per game. The Montana junior put these numbers up in victories against Southern Utah and Montana State.
Jamar posted 12 points and 7 rebounds in 34 minutes in a 73-67 win against Southern Utah. That was followed by a team-leading 23 points plus an additional 10 assists in a narrow 76-71 win over Montana State.
Kareem Jamar has been named StatSheet Big Sky Player of the Week one other time this season. He has also received an honorable mention. The runner-up this week is Troy Huff, a junior from North Dakota. Honorable mention goes to North Dakota junior Aaron Anderson. Tate Unruh was the highest ranking player from Northern Colorado, finishing fourth.
